Zappa-Lennon3

Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention appeared with John Lennon and Yoko One on June 5, 1971 at Fillmore. Both released music from the event with vastly different editing. Zappa's included crude comments made by the MOI about Yoko Ono. Not surprisingly, Lennon's omitted these.

as another great artist once said (or similar) It is better to keep quiet and seem stupid rather than open your mouth and let everyone know the truth...... This might apply to most who would foul mouth Lennon or Zappa. They both were invaluble and now they're both gone. This is what is really sad..........

@GuiseppePipes i am a musician and im telling you and everyone else that there can be a huge difference between a great songwriter and a great musician. and yes....it is nearly impossible to write a pop hit WITHOUT it being cheesy. lennon did it like he was brushing his teeth. i love all music...including obscure stuff....it has nothing to do with whether its a pop hit or not...he had an uncanny knack for writing "special" songs....and if YOU are a musician youll know what i mean

@fmxkool that's some ignorant shit to be spouting.... idk if you're a musician, but it doesnt take one to write a "song". I suppose you mean pop songs, anyone who puts their mind to it could write one, just follow the simple outline. A musician is someone who can translate emotion into musical notes, and have those notes mean something.
