  • as a matter of fact we (as humans) think of the future

    Animals dont...

  • Can you post the whole show?

  • sorry, i do not have the whole show

  • also, the natives called them out because they were worried about the FATE of these two and they used the opportunity to make a documentary instead of rescuing them like the natives had requested.

  • We are not supposed to interfere in the life of wild animals

Not everyone has the opportunity to see such unusual behavior of animals in the wild

We should be to grateful to such people who have dedicated their life for wild life research

  • I saw another feature on animal planet about this, Saba knew this wasn't her cub because she didn't try to hunt meat for it, and after the calf was killed she adopted ANOTHER calf

  • yup

but of all the calf she adopted (after this i believe she adopted two more)this was the only one that lasted the longest

  • i love animals, they have bigger hearts than humans. we should learn from them.

  • so sweet. lioness was lonely and found a friend and they both developed such a pure affection for each other.so sweet.

they r both young and naive and children whether human or animal tend not to have bias or prejudice...but the pure qualities :)

  • I love all animals because they have bigger hearts than some humans.

  • I watchet this its wery sad ending :(

  • The lioness ended up eating the calf, sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

  • @yvestrange, I know we are not supposed to interfere with nature but don't we humans interefere with it enough already every day by littering, ozone thinning, and wasting oil and polluting the environment?

  • @seakuh4u ...

I don't mean to sound snobbish but (as sweet as your wishes are for that calf) it would upset the natural orders if we stepped in to help an animal out, whether it be saving a life or to help taking one. as they say... it's a part of the circle of life :D

  • Yes I saw this documentary. They were together for 16 days, untill some man Lion came and ate the calf.

Afterwards she adopted some few more.

    It was a beautifull documentary.

  • @seakuh4u Yeah i thought it was really bizarre too, and nobody has the full story on here, it was on animal planet a while back and then again recently, i didnt see the begining of how she came to adopt the calf but i saw the bits that she was with the calf, it was amazing, think she is truely an amazing lioness

  • oh wow really? didnt kno that.

  • If you'd watched it, a little further along, the keeper actually throws her some meat, and she doesnt touch it. The people were so worried about them that they demanded he step in, so in the night they go find them and he drops the meat on the ground near to where she is, and she runs away from it! I thought this story was absolutely incredible, i hope the lioness lives a long and happy life, she is absolutely amazing and adorable!
