I honestly can't say that I believe things beyond what my senses tell me, assisted or otherwise.
Maybe that's a narrow view point, but, I just can't take belief on faith a lone, I simply can't accept the mystic on face value.

I think that we all believe things beyond merely what our senses tell us. I don't think of god as an entity but as a function of conciousness. We don't all call it god but in essence god is the ultamate authority. I think that many times we get hung up in what we call this ultimate authority. I think it is perfectly OK to call is nature or the order of things.
