Musee Mecanique-The Zelinsky Collection-Opening

The DVD "The Zelinsky Collection" was made in 2002 after it was learned that they were being evicted from The Cliff House for seismic reasons. Ed Zelinsky, owner and curator of the Musee for several decades gave us the tour at The Cliff House before the move. We were going to shoot half of the DVD at the CH and the other half at Pier 45. Unfortunately Mr. Zelinsky became ill and passed away before we could complete the project. To fill the gaps I used test footage I did with Mr. Zelinsky at the CH without proper mikes or lights. It actually wound up capturing the dark, dank nature of the old place. You can also hear me talking and kidding around with Mr.Z which I think shows this wonderful man's true personality.
