Do you work for the TP&W?
-
the 15 hoppers at the front come from Kentland Indiana and go to our railyard in East Peoria. They have white rock on them. Neat I was looking for a video that had those cars on it.
-
Im just gonna have to stop and visit .. I want to visit Gilman to.. an easy drive on ol US 24.
-
they aint shiny
-
Let me ask you this... are the track rails shinney as in silver on top of the rail.. or are they rusted on top most of the time?
-
and if you would like, please camp out near the rail, and you can see for yourself that it is in fact rare that a train is on that track.
-
no im pretty sure that trains rarely go through that track, we usually only get trains on the north-to-south track on 24.

They usually run 2-3 trains a day. 1 to Indiana, 1 back to Peoria and then 1 eastbound or westbound.

no problem: I see and hear TP&W every day here in Watseka. They've been shaking my house since it was built in the early 1880's LOL... the hopper cars come from Newton County Gravel east of Kentland. I think TP&W uses Newton County Gravel for all the ballast on their line.
