Why No One Invades Switzerland

Switzerland has the lowest crime rate in the world,because the people are armed,basic military is mandatory for men,and after wards they are required to keep their weapon at home.A crook will think twice about breaking into houses knowing this,people who think the world should get rid rid of guns should think again.

Actually there are background checks at gun shows for any FFL dealer, the only people not doing background checks are those that sell from their private collection. Those people would still be able to sell their guns at a gun show or on the street legally anyway. It was an excuse given to people that know nothing on the subject to rally support. If you don't know about it, don't speak on it.

Nukes are banned because of the cost potential of lives. A nuke or bomb is an indiscriminate killer and that goes against everything a responsible gun owner believes in. Guns however are a very discriminate killer. You can't point a nuke at 10 yards down a hallway, but you sure as hell can point a gun, without taking out your family, neighbors, block, city etc.

Don't compare guns to nukes, its grasping for straws.

Also the police/military RESPOND to situations after the fact.

Increased searches? So abolish the 4th amendment as well keeping the government from having non warrented searches of private property? So you want to live in a police state? Also YES GUN SHOWS DO BACKROUND CHECKS. to be apart of a local gun show, At least here. You need to be a member, to gain a membership you undergo 4 different back round checks. Then you get a membership badge. Any table holder is required to check the ID badge and the individuals drivers license together and hold record of the information. every year they are required to show documentation of these records. We never had a problem.

The Local, county, and state governments having constant communication with the NICS backround check system. That way there is up to date information on criminals and history. Also a sharing of information between the mental health systems and NICS if somebody is not able to handle theyre own affairs. This will reduce the amount of criminals and psychoapths purchessing weapons.
