Thank you God that we live by your spirit, not by the law, but you took on our curse and gave your life so that we are free from sin. Amen!!!

@tallliza We should not blame God for everything that happens here on earth. Because of our own folly we suffer. There are tremendous unrighteousness happening in this world today. God little by little taking His innocent children to Heaven!!!!
Most people now are living in wickedness so we are the one judging ourselves. What we sow we reap. This is the law of karma.

everything happens for a reason and those reasons are sometimes or should i say always can't be understand by our finite mind... For those who believe in God we must remember that we are only a creation of God, created in His own image but we are not God like Him to understand what we are not intended or allowed to understand. For what right should the masterpiece say to his creator , "why you created me this way?".

@tallliza A) When God first created the world, there was no sin. Meaning there was no bad, quite literally. Everything was good - no weeping, no suffering, no pain. But then, man sinned, and because of that sin, which was in essence disobedience to God, saying we did not want to live under his rule any more, and wished to in fact govern our own lives, and not live under his perfection, we brought sin, which is anything bad, upon ourselves. He gave us life without these disasters, and we said no.

@tallliza people come together and help them and have an opportunity to spread the gospel to these people who without the disaster might not have ever heard before.. just a thought

@tallliza i realise this post is old but i saw it and i just thought i might add bit..after the fall of Adam God cursed the ground " 17And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;" Genesis 3:17 also..after these natural disasters what happens?

hahaha.. Just because you become a Christian doesn't mean you're immune to the physical world i.e., earth quakes, hurrcanes, tonadoes, nuclear meltdowns etc, it simply means you have hope in all the chaos. The Bible clearly says that in rains on the just and unjust alike, but while the unjust blame God, the just praise him for the opportunity to show his love to others.

@Gruxx22 It's a real pitiful situation. When things go wrong, people blame "the God who cannot be seen" and "is absent during bad times". But when things go the way we want them, it's all because of "our efforts" and "we deserve them"??

GOD, I SURRENDER TO YOU!

GOD I SURRENDER TO YOU,,,

@Gruxx22 when its ur time to die it ur time GOD just doesnt take ur life away for fun.

Four common sense reasons why I think there is no god; A) Total absence from the natural world. No sign of a god, before, during or after, natural disastres B) The absolute absence of favoritism towards believers. Even chruches need lightning-rods to protect them from god. C) The absence of any reaction, when crimes are committed in his name. D) The suffering of the innocent. One could accept that the guilty must suffer, but children ???

@tallliza Those are good arguments. I encourage you though to look into how our human sin, our unwillingness to follow God's commands has brought much of this upon ourselves.
Also God doesn't give us a life without suffering on earth, He helps us to grow and to come to know him better and deeper through our victories and struggles and after we pass away or when He returns, we will enjoy eternal life with Him. Romans also states, all creation testifies there is a creator, just see the complexity

@paikimchung So Hurricane katrina, the earthquakes in Haiti, and the latest Tsunami in Japan are god's "divine mercy"? Thousands of people dead and a nuclear reactor meltdown is "saving" people? What the fuck is wrong with you? Well in that case you have just converted me to Christianity. And I pray that god works in mysterious ways and kills you for being such a good follower. Isn't religion fun!?

@Gruxx22 I think you misread my answer. Also I'll allow this comment but usually I remove comments that carry profanity.
I'm not God, I do not know why what happened for exactly what reason. What I do know is that much of what is happening is because of sin us turning away from God, we ourselves are messing up God's perfect creation. But God in His mercy gave us Jesus to atone for our wrongdoings and will restore everything when he comes again. (Doesn't mean we're not held responsible)
