" It's like going to GrandMa's house, only better!"
hunting, fishing, bird watching, star gazing,
camping, hiking packages.
Originally a farmstead built in the mid-1800's, the Red House Country Inn is nestled within the beautiful 16,000 acre Finger Lakes National Forest.

Located on the east side of Seneca Lake, its beautiful rolling hills of forest and woods contain over 30 miles of maintained hiking, nature, and cross-country ski trails along with innumerable stocked ponds. Trails are picked up right at the Inn.

DIRECTIONS: From the North. NYS Thruway Exit 41 at Waterloo, 36.5 miles south on Rt. 414 to Township of Hector. Left on Schuyler County Road No. 2 for 3.4 miles.

From the South. Clock 8.7 miles north from Franklin and Fourth Streets in Watkins Glen on Rt. 414 to Schuyler County Road No. 2. Turn right. 3.4 miles to Inn.

From Ithaca. Take Rt. 96 north to Perry City Road. Turn left and go straight to Town of Reynoldsville via Rt. 227. Right on Potomac Road...left on Picnic Area Road. The Inn is the first house on the left (approximately 18 miles total).
