@tmtcon : Because of budget cuts at NBC and the amount of money Drake Hogestyn and Deidre Hall were making it was either let them go or cancel 'Days Of Our Lives.' Which I think is utter BS with the amount of money NBC has. Believe me, you say you haven't watched days in over a year, you haven't missed much. the only thing worth watching was Alice Horton's funeral, but even THAT was messed up because John and Marlena weren't there.

I've always suspected Deidre Hall and Susan Lucci disliked each other or had a rivalry of sort's.

WTF! We did not protest!!!!!! I am still in shock over Marlena/John off Days!! Have been a fan since '86 (I was 10 years old), Haven't watched Days for almost a year. I love this clip, thanks for posting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This wasn't The Arsenio Hall Show, the one we know and love that started in January 1989, but Arensio's hosting stint of Fox's The Late Show during the latter half of 1987.
