Oh great, now he's under federal investigation for violating the Hatch Act. My question is, if he will not abide by the law, what kind of chief law enforcement officer in the county will he make? I don't think he has the right to decide which laws he will follow and which ones he will not.

I can't wail until Everett Rice becomes Sheriff of Pinellas County!!! This guy Gualtieri is a joke of an administrator and is totally inept. He has run our once prestigious department into the ground with driving force. I also blame Coats for allowing this 'person' to degenerate our high standards into his own personal snafu. It really disgusts me.
