On September 25, 2011 Dee Snyder's Bikers for Babies annual motorcycle ride was held. The Bikers for Babies program is through the March of Dimes, which has been keeping babies safe and healthy for over seventy years. The Nassau County Fire Riders Motorcycle Club showed their support by participating in the motorcycle ride. This year was the 9th Annual Bikers for Babies ride, which was a complete success with over 800 motorcycles total. The Nassau County Fire Riders Motorcycle Club was founded in 1989. It is a family oriented, non-profit organization that supports various organizations and programs as well as promotes safe motorcycling. They provide many motorcycle escorts for various types of fundraisers and charities throughout Long Island and New York City. The members consists of firefighters from fire departments from Long Island to New York City. Next year will be the 10th Annual Ride for Babies and hopefully it will be as successful as this year. Thank you to everyone who participated and showed their support for the babies.
