In this episode of Montage we bring you "Passing Judgements" a short film directed by American film-maker Emily Manthei and Gallery Crawl a podcast produced by KQED Interactive; the arts and culture co-operative also based in the US.

Over the past five years Emily Manthei has made three short films both in the US and UK, two documentaries in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and several music videos. Her short films have been in festivals in the US, and a music video that she made for singer/songwriter Kristi Kates won Best Music Video at the Vox Populi Independent Film Festival. She is currently engaged in developing a feature length script set in London along with making music videos with her music video directing partner, Meredith Rose, writer of "Passing Judgements".
