Lol ok they weren't to good at english here apparently! German is such a simple language, this song in german would be completely normal, but it sounds odd in english because we would say it so many different ways, and in german, you really can't! You have certain words that mean 1 thing and if you switch them up, it doesn't work. Changed the whole meaning of the scentence sometimes. But still, I give them credit, they did quite good :D
