I will never understand why Jimmy Johnson was fired. I know about his fallout with Jerry but it still doesn't add up. Back to back Superbowls and your team has the talent to 3 peat and u decide to make a change? C'mon, man!!!

@FromSouthforkTexas ..i agree although as Sooners fan i LOVE the guy and he definitely fit right in image wise along with Landry and Johnson as a iconic(larger then life) head coach be it either NFL or NCAA..in a way it was the 1970's in Oklahoma all over again..Switzer walks into program/team all set up to keep winning big except in the pros unlike college even the really good teams can't keep winning on pure talent alone...Switzer found this out the hard way in 94

good man, one of the best. but horrible choice to coach a group of hard partiers coming off 2 straight super bowl wins. jimmy would never have let them get complacent.
