I really hope they take their time and tell a complete, fulfilling story. The only way I could imagine WB ruining it is if they try to stick the entire first war into one movie. A two parter would not bug me at all.

I wonder who should play Captain Global? Hmm...how about Eddie James Olmos who played Admiral Adama from BSG reimagined? He even looks like Cpt. Global with the mustache. Since he already did a commanding role of the Galactica, he might as well do one as the Commander of the Macross. "This is Captain Global. As I promised all of you that we will return to Earth. and finally after all the battles, all the loss and gain. We have finally come home!"

the moment you put milla jovovich in a movie - its ruined. she might have gotten away with the first resident evil. but shes no superstar. she should stick to modelling since she doesnt need to open her mouth for that asside from if she needs to say the company slogan

OKay that is a bit off, as there are no variable mode destroids in the original, so why suggest one for the Live action film? Makes me wonder if these are even real designs or not.
