  • Does this need stitches? If so, when you remove the stitches, does it hurt? And how many stitches will you need ?

  • One running stitch is used. NO it does not hurt upon removal. As a matter of fact the majority of my patients state that the entire process is extremely easy for them.

  • In all videos, I see Drs just cutting the eyelid, how do you take the measurements of the parts that u cutting?

  • I take 3 separate measurements: first, with the patient sitting up I measure the eyelid crease (normal line on the eyelid) . I then, tease the skin forward looking for the redundant skin and mark this. Second. before freezing the eyelid I gently pinch the skin making sure only the skin necessary is removed. Third, this is repeated prior to any skin removal.

  • The laser can be used instead of a scalpel blade for this purpose.

  • Most patients respond that they have no pain after surgery. The majority of healing occurs within one week. The procedure is performed in an accredited operating room with an anesthesiologist and thus is pain free.

  • Now that was the best way and safest way, I've seen so far. Very cool thanks for giving making this video.I will concider this option.

  • @iceskater1 It's just a little removal of skin and fat. It's not even that bad compared to many surgeries that are necessary to continue health. This one may be just for appearance for many people, but it's pretty safe and fast. The results can be quite amazing too. Many people are fine with their appearance, but many are not. Try not to judge too harshly. :>P This world is very shallow.
