  • FiddlerKim@ Wieniawskis family were actually Jewish .his father a surgeon who as military doctor took part in uprisings against the tsarist Russia converted to catholicism ( could have been one generation earlier).W,. lived in Lublin . As being probably one of the last remains of Lublin Jewry and a son of a violin playing dentist , I am deeply moved by Your performance not only because of its high level of accomplishment but even more by its passion and the love You show for W. s Polish melos.

  • @DrDereczynski

Thanks for the compliment and the words about Wieniawski, this is the second time I played this master piece since first I played it in a competition at 1971, the motion I got from the melody at each playing is totally different.

Really glad to meet someone adores Wieniawski here.

  • I like your style and your sound is deep, but there's some intonation mistakes. Also I think you press too much on the bow. When the triplet comes with a bunch of double-stops, they sound rough.

  • Great playing, Dr. Chang! I'm teaching this piece to two students right now. They'll be inspired to hear you:)

  • very good sound

  • wonderful!
