Last time on Top Chef - Ron was sent home.
This week's guest judge is Michelle Tyler Florence.
Quickfire - Chefs must create a dish using the 3 key words the slot machine picks for them. Its also a high stakes quickfire.

Robin - stressed umami middle eastern.




Eli - stressed umami asian.




Jennifer - adventurous nutty american.




Top 3 -
Mike - stressed umami asian.




Kevin - stressed hot & spicy asian.




Michael - adventurous tangy asian.




Kevin wins the quickfire & gets to choose between immunity & $15,000. He chooses the money.




Elimination challenge -
Chefs are sent home. When they get there they realize the pantry has been stocked & Padma & guests are waiting outside with groceries.
The chefs have to host a dinner party for the guest chefs & judges. Each team of two has to make a homestyle dish. They have two & a half hours to cook & must draw knives for groceries & partners.

The reason the Top Chef Masters act with so much more class is that they've already arrived and proved themselves to be great.

The Top Chef contestants want to get to the top and are willing to do whatever they have to do to get there.

if ppl watched top chef masters you see the difference in attitude among the chefs. I predict that Kevin will take it all. Not only is he talented but he's not competing to be the biggest asshole. The rest of those "chefs" have acted nasty to each other and you saw that last night. One of the brothers was actually nasty to Kevin and all of them, but kevin and the blonde, girl seem to have something nasty to say about robin. Let your food speak for you instead of being jerks to each other.

I agree with you about Mikey I-he is unreasonably nasty to Robin(along with some of the other chefs) for no good reason.

I knew Kevin and Jennifer would win the moment they paired up. They are the two best chefs of this season.
