Gaura Vani & As Kindred Spirits perform at Chant4Change: Inaugural Kirtan Festival.Chant4change was a celebration during the Inauguration of Barack Obama with sacred activist Shiva Rea, world-renowned kirtan/chant artists Jai Uttal, Dave Stringer, Gaura Vani & As Kindred Spirits and 400 other conscious revolutionaries including Saul David Raye, Daphne Tse, and Joshua Greene. Kirtan, with it's interactive call and response format, played a significant role in rallying community-based reform movements in India and beyond. Brought into mainstream India in the late 15th century by the spiritual reformer Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, it was the first known non-violent social reform movement against India's rigid caste system.

Fabtastic are the voices and singing of gaura vani and achuta gopi. The performamce by the dancers takes the audiences and watchers alike to a higher level of spirituality. Thanks for the posting.
