For some reason the so called Holocaust seems to trump any pain and suffering from any other people, and is worthy of being a required course in American history.
This is not something that happened to American soldiers, it was something that happened in Europe.
Why are we not studying what happened to Americans in the Bataan Death March.
Why is the Holocaust such an important subject to keep teaching to American kids even though it happen over 60 years ago and nothing to do with Americans?
Genocide has been happening since the birth of man and its no different if it happened 5,000 years ago, 500 years ago or 60 years ago.
