It is probably very difficult for people in other countries to understand, as it seems like such a small and normal thing. But there are very few in Latvian pop/rock music who dare to try different music styles and to take on a challenge. Intars Busulis is one of them. He sings ordinary and not so ordinary pop music, he sings jazz, he sings disco music, funk music and even reggae, he sings eastern style and slavic style, he sings Latvian national songs, he has even tried a bit of rap.

I like this very much. I understand that his singing is very far from unique by world standards, and that he most likely has a terrible accent that would horrify everyone who knows the language. But in our small and (admittedly) provincial Latvia he is the only one from pop singers who would sing something like this. There are other singers in Latvia who could probably sing like this, but they simply wouldn't dare. And it is not what you could do that counts, but what you actually do.
Actually, you should have uploaded this as a response to one of the most viewed Busulis Eurovision videos. Probably slavic (and other) people would like it, although Busulis most likely has a terrible accent. I know that this is not slavic, it's Greek - Arabic traditional song, but still the musical style is quite similar and, I think, understandable for slavic people.

Well, maybe responsing this song with Intars' eurovision video would add more attention to his other songs, not only Probka. I tried, but they don't approve my response. Ghostbusters by the way is the most viewed Intars' vide on yt. And I think that if someone is interested in his music, he'll find Misirlou anyway.:)
