This is a result of an algorithm mainly I have generated at www.hwcomms.com . The algorithm develops most likely route (purple line) for given GPS points (red line). It takes all the possible routes between two samples and evolves them as new samples are added. Here GPS points are given every one minutes. The algorithm provides a route which is up to 20% longer in mileage compare to raw disconnected GPS route (red route). It could accurately recovers turns and round about and is very fast (170 ms for this example) and scalable. The code has been done in JAVA. Any questions please send me an email to a dot bahraminasab at gmail.com (HWC owns the IP so I could only provide general description and not details of the code).
