7 movies would only take 15 or so years to produce. An actor who is 30 now, would only be 45 by the seventh, which is not too old to play Superman (if he stays in good shape)

@hexum7 True, and i would love to see Routh do that, but some actors won't commit to seven movies, some will barely commit to a trilogy, it's really hard to avoid typecasting if you do something for so long. then the actors could want to do something else, but he'd have to do another movie, this way if an actor wanted to break and do something else, we would just replace him, without rebooting it, so everyone gets what they want

these are all business ideas (methods to hire actors, directors etc.)- not creative lets hear your actual continuity ideas?

@hexum7 the constant refrences to bond were the idea, keep continuity as they do with the bond films, it's already happened just a new guy is wearing the tights

@hexum7 it also lets the studio keep continuity, they switch actors but it's the same Superman in movie 20 as it would be in movie 1, just someone new, that way actors don't get bored with the role, and can have no regrets moving on, and there wouldn't be constant reboots to reestablish continuity to fit a new actor who might not stick around
