John Gunderson wanted a spot on Ken Shamrock's Lions so badly that he drove all night from Oregon to Nevada and competed on no sleep and an empty stomach. The 27 year-old carpenter admitted to being "worn out" at the end of the long tryout, but it paid off when Shamrock offered him the job.

  • Part of an awesome lightweight division in the IFL. I'd put the IFL's lightweights up against UFC's anyday.
