I can't wait for the day when absolute respect for faith and religion ends. The day when I can open a newspaper or internet news and NOT see a religious talking head babbling in incoherent bronze age garbage in support of their continuously sickening attrocities. Hari hits exactly the right mark. The Pope should be held to account for his Criminal acts. He is the head of a criminal conspiracy amounting to Crimes Against Humanity. It is an international disgrace - anyone else as head of an international organisation would be standing in the dock.

Did he really give them an interview? Or did he merely give them a video of quotes which he had already given to other people and string them together through the use of electronic wizardry, so he only appeared to be in the same studio?

Someone with his credibility issues is not ideally placed to talk about the credibility issues of others. Why get rid of religion, if the alternative is hypocrisy from an entirely different source ? Lack of religion is no defence against evil - Mao's lack of religion did not stop him killing people. Atheists confuse evil done despite the principles of one's religion or philosophy or world-view with evil that is the consequence of them. Child-abuse is evil & opposed to Christianity
