i know this is quite an old vid, but how is the rides crash-abilty.

is it good?

Never use it as such. It's too high-pitch for that in my opinion.

The Rock pack is just too thick in my opinion =/

While the Pro pack, as I said, have a very distinct attack and high pitch.

Yeah it's the solid ones.

I bought the package with solid ride, hats, crash and the 12" flash splash.

the solid crash sounds really good but the rock equivalent that they sold was just too thick for me =/ sounded like a big church bell with no "crash" to it =P

The flash splash was awesome too! Although mine broke rather quickly mostly because I didn't actually treat it as a splash =$

I think i'll jus get the hi hats and maybe the ride. Does the crash sound good? Also are the hats solid hats?

It was a soundcheck and I wasn't aware that I was being filmed so yeah, I look dull if that's what you mean.
