  • My favorite one is ball of fire. Good ratio of lights to darks, nothing too neon. Very well done, very professional looking. Very "clean" if a fireball can be called that. But with the good I always point out the weaker stuff too. The regular explosion didn't seem to match the style of your other ones, it was simply too realistic. Then the small flame, I could tell was footage of a small flame, but it looks too scaled up, fires that size don't look like that.

  • @artbyjcm You are completely right, with the skills I have acquired now I would make them in a different way, but I am too lazy to work again on those effetcs :)

These are old effects and the flames looks very bad, I should have worked a lot more on the materials!

  • Dude... gotta ask... how the hell did you make that fire... just the stand alone fire/flame... that is EXACTLY what I have been trying to make and have not come even close! Got any pointers? Not really asking for a tutorial... just a point in the right direction.

  • @FFSpazz The explosion at 0.43 and the fire at 1.32 are made with the same technique. I have extrapolated them from a video and created a texture with 25 frames that can be read in sequence by the Engine. You can see the composition inside the Cascade Editor at 1.22min in the first Special Effect video.

  • ool how long did it take u

  • awesome, but that reminds me final fantasy magics :D

  • Some effects need a lil bit of fixing.. but man.. this looks AWESOME

  • just a little command on the way you view/show you're particle effects. How about you just place you're button in a circle and show the effects in the middle. just a minor adjustment with a much stronger effect. Cool Effects by the way. You should make a couple of tuts, ill watch! :)

  • Very interesting effects

  • the speed of some particles when the principal explodes are very fast,.

    but looks god.
