put a band-aid on the future. El-P
-
@riot4us which is tied to the presence of trains, just like this song is the awareness of negative memories El has of coke parties.
-
@THEMATTHIAS225 no that's your awareness of a memory not a train your reaction to the death of a friend not a train
-
@THEMATTHIAS225 i'll give you that. but its that reflection that makes us more than just emotions.
-
@SOSTacoJohnson Fair enough, that's just you however, doesn't change the perception or emotional reaction of El-P. You might say you love trains because of all the wonderful things they do fo society, but if i've witnessed someone get run over by one, our emotional reactions to one passing by would be different.

@THEMATTHIAS225 isn't cocaine fun? Some of the stupidest shit I've ever done has been while I'm on it. Although, if I may speak truth. Some of the most amazing things I've ever done have been under its influence.
-
@SOSTacoJohnson Well, the entire song is just an epiphany of hindsight he has while snorting cocaine.
-
ive said this one another post... but if anyone cares the fun fact about this song is its about people in a room doing drugs... most obvioius one... is them snorting coke... just saying
-
@SOSTacoJohnson plus...that trumpet...

@Indhegoh at this point, I welcome you to the internet. You sir, just got owned.
The genius in this song is the pure truth is speaks...
As I've grown older, I've been noticing more and more about people. After you realize your genius, you begin to notice just how far behind everyone else is. Eventually you start to stop caring about them. Sooner or later it seems, life becomes a game to balance a comprehension of their idiocy with your hatred for them. The change in the beat almost seems to mimic this point...
