And now for something different. We now head to Italy, care of one of my friends who filmed these scenes for me. Due to upload speeds, i've split this into two short video's.

So for part one we have a brief visit to Bovolone railway station. Here we see a DMU call at this station. In the next part we visit Verona station. With thanks to Mr G.Ferrari for taking time to film these clips for me.

Part 2 coming next....

  • @THoMaSSoNita I was hoping some one could give me some gen on this DMU. Many thanks for the info, much appreciated.

  • That's a ALn 668-1200 series, built in the late 1970's, so pretty much the same age as BR class 150's. This is the second-to-last generation of DMU's, the latest being the Aln 501/502 "Minuetto", which are still being built.

  • @REGWARNE12 Not sure as to what gen of DMU this is, not familar with italian rolling stock. Certainly different to what we get round my way. Cheers.

  • Lucky they were not on strike , was that a 1st generation DMU ? .
