DC Hellgate - Unreleased Game

Just got this a few days ago, seems like fun, although I stink at this type of game (as you can see in the vid :p). The controls seem to be hyper sensitive, specially the analog stick, so you need to put the sensitivity at minimum. The levels seem quite big, hence the long loading time. The big bone gate opens once you've cleared this part of all the baddies, unlocking a new part of the level, & so on. Also you get to choose between a few types of 1st & 3rd person view, which imo is a good thing since peronally I hate 1st person view.

WoW I remember workin on this game at Jester.. When we completed the Beta, our publisher backed out of the Dreamcast market but kept the license (with a view to doing a possible PS2 version), so the game got canned.. I am pleased it slipped out, because it wasn't the worst thing I ever played.. I wonder if the other completed Jester DC games were on the DevKit?

there's still a lot of devkits out there, the pop up on ebay every now & then, so I guess there must still be a bunch of unreleased (unfinished) games in a few of em :)

i just downloaded this and im like you not a fan of 1st person i have no idea what im doing but have a laugh driveing round shooting

i cant believe all the best games on other consoals / pc were originaly planned for the saturn or dreamcast and never made it if monkey ball had made the dreamcast and just a few others and they had a dvd version and backward compatability or bleem had of been helped secratly by sega or something then .............
