  • Pretty awesome idea of Mesa. I would like to hear the mini rectifier through a 2x12. I bet it would sound pretty cool if it only had to push 2x12s instead of 4. I could be wrong, but either way, awesome product review. Thanks!

  • @SchaarBass you can hear it played through a 1x12 on one of our other videos. It's the Guthrie Govan Antique demo vid!

  • Who was playing on the demo? Some nice shred chops there!

  • @brentmann that's one of our teachers, Erin Carey!

  • Awesome playing, man. You should do eLessons or something. I would sign up.

  • @macbean79 that is a good idea, we will look into some e-Lessons with Erin!

  • this is stupid price, i go for it if it is 500-600

  • The Single Recto is my favorite Mesa, I really had high hopes when i ordered the mini. I also brought in a Carvin V3M. I just thought the V3m sounded better clean & distorted. Has 3 channels with 3 modes per. The 50w/22w/7w power section makes it an amp that can gig & be used for practice. It's also $400 cheaper but still made in the USA.

  • @docnozzle nope! that is a retractable metal handle! :)

  • Yea! if your determend to spin a grand or close, why not go with the 100w Alboin head which looks very botique an awesome amp for ($ 899.99) I gurrenty they won't stay at that price for long, what a whole lot of amp for that price. you can create any sound you want and the clean is awesome! Deffently to be checked out.I would had bought it if I hadn't already bought one for2011NNam! Dam very nice!

  • @WyldeMagiK .. i have this amp, and there isn't much difference between 10/25 on clean. The only setting that is clearly different is the channel 2 modern 10w vs 25w. 10 is warm and a great lead tone, while 25 is pure heavy metal.

  • I have to agree on the clean on carvin, plus it has soak switch on the clean which you can go from clean to blues to classic if you want.Channel 1&2 drives can also go from classic to thick or itense switch. Plus separet EQswitchs on all Three channels with reverb & Boost to select with volume for boost on back at your choice on ether channel. At 50Watts,22w&7W. Effects Loop switchable 4,8,16ohms line out cab vid&midi 120vac or 240vac switch. 4-el84s 4-12ax7s you can't beat it in a micro amp! $599

  • Er.......did the handle bend when you picked it up and turned it round?? Looks like it did.
