drcraigvideos - cowardly disingenuous hypocrite?

This is a video I put together after observing how drcraigvideos operates his YouTube channel. I wasn't clever enough to record a voice audio track at the time, so it's all slides (but the music is really chill). I have seen tons of complaints from people who try to post reasonable, politely dissenting comments on his videos. Frequently, these comments are replied to in a rude manner (my bias there), and following that, the dissenter is blocked entirely.

Why would someone who exalts a respected debater descend to the level of censorship, apparently hiding behind fear of dissent, dialogue, and objection?

If William Lane Craig's arguments are SO strong, and SO irrefutable, surely it wouldn't matter at all what objections or counterarguments were put forward? Surely it wouldn't be necessary to censor reasonable, rational points?

This video does NOT address Dr. Craig's arguments themselves. It addresses a standard of behavior I see more and more on YouTube, in which people who supposedly want to engage in debate are actually more interested in stifling it. They allow comments on SOME videos, but for some reason are afraid to take the debate beyond the point at which they no longer feel 100% in control.

I'm tempted to say "Sorry to pick on you drcraigvideos", but I won't. Your channel tries to be both an open forum and a close-minded absolutist chamber of non-debate at the same time. This is what I'm calling you on, I believe I have good reason to do so, so here are my arguments.

If you're going to act like an open forum, then be 100% open about it. If you're going to disallow comments because you just can't stand it when people reasonably try to poke holes in your hero's arguments, then disable all comments, put that on your channel, and then you won't be misleading your viewers and subscribers.

Important note: the sentiments I express in this video apply to ANYONE who behaves this way. It doesn't matter what their beliefs are.

I welcome any and ALL video responses or comments.

You see the thing about youtube atheists is that they feel they belong to The Atheist Camp. When a member from The Atheist Camp decides to criticize a spokesman for christianity, they consider that person to be the enemy (aka The Theist Camp) and they attack him personally rather than his arguments. They will obviously NOT talk to anyone from The Theist Camp asking for permisson to do this.

They obviously are not respected with youtube atheists, and youtube are chock full of atheists. See there are people who understands the arguments dr Craig are making, and then there are bitter atheists who thinks he's a "douchebag" and feel they need to write it.

I definitely agree that shockofgod is more *obvious* in his hypocrisy, but John Leonard is just as bad. drcraigvideos has but one mission: posting as many WLC videos as he can, DMCA'ing ones he doesn't like, and creating the false impression (via comment blocking/censoring/deletion) that these videos come across as getting WAY more respect than they actually ever have.

Possibly different in style, but not substance.

How about you backup your statements about drcraigvideos by referring to at least a couple of videos where drcraigvideos expresses his own opinion about Dawkins. In what video do dcv attack Dawkins as a person?

I have a feeling based on your replies that you don't understand what hypocrisy/hypocrite actually means. If you do then you must be mentally stupid if you can't understand the blatant hypocrisy of drcraigvideos as shown in this video and many others.

I feel like a broken record here so I'm not going to waste my time responding to your silly replies anymore.

@flackz16 All videos I find with drcraigvideos are videos about dr Craig. Those are other users, like Birdieupon, who are being vocal about Dawkins refusing to debate Craig. Dawkins is about to debate soon with someone else, but he just skipped dr Craig and many people are disappointed about it including myself. Calling it "vicious" or "hypocritical" of christians (or atheists alike) to criticize Dawkins for that is not something you can motivate.

All I've said is that he's an extremely cowardly hypocrite. I don't understand why your defending him when you don't seem to disagree with me..

@flackz16 Lol no I've been blocked by drcraigvideos too. He unblocked me recently though. drcraigvideos is one of MILLIONS of people with youtube accounts. His behavior might be uptight and slightly fascist but there's no reason to hate or love a person you don't know.

You're saying that there are many videos of him viciously attacking Dawkins. I don't see them. What videos? And what is so vicious?

Now look at the many videos of him viciously attacking Dawkins for refusing to debate. Your telling me that isn't extremely hypocritical? He has the right to censor and I have the right to judge him and call him the extremely hypocritical coward that he is. Why do you care? Is he your boyfriend or something?
