  • At 3:13 that dog looks like a Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retreiver. I have one of those they're really sweet! Can some confirm if that dog is one?

  • Its a red Border Collie, though there are some DTR doing agility in the UK

  • it makes me cringe to hear the way some people scream at their dogs - there really is NO need for it!

  • I have NEVER seen such disregard for dogs in competition. I guess that is the difference between us Americans and Brits. If you watch US competitions you don't hear handlers yelling at their dogs like that. It is just disgusting.

  • Wow a lot of these handlers are dicks, they're constantly yelling at their dogs if they don't do the trick.

  • Handlers sure seem to scream at their dogs a lot in the UK...that's pretty discouraged here...and my dog certainly wouldn't tolerate it. If I screamed at him at a trial, he would be "I don't have to take this!" and leave the ring. I'm surprised these dogs are tolerating it.

  • I don't think you should shout at your dog at all when running the course. Remember they are only dogs and don't think like humans!

     Great video!

  • 3:50 "GET UP HERE NOW!!!"

  • Well of course the dogs aren't listening to them. The handlers need to calm down, they're exciting the dogs.

  • @running1usa have a look at my video sirus at agility. He is just learning and tell me he doesn't look like he is having fun! Granted the owners on this video were yelling but I don't do that and if my dog makes a mistake its a handlers error and I didn't let my dog know what I wanted. Agility is meant to be a fun sport! And my dog loves it! And its a great way to bond with your dog too!

  • why did that woman shout "get up here now" in such an angry voice?! What a horrible woman. Never would I shout at my dogs like that. They can sense the anger so well it puts them off.

  • mmh too bad you never mentioned that the it s not really the dogs fault...

handlers are kinda crappy if they cant lead them through the course

don t make it sound like the dogs are too blame

  • LOL "AND YOU WAIT ON THAT ONE TOO!"
