Oh yeah, and he wants to privatize everything. He's covered by government health care for almost his whole life, but he could afford the more expensive non-government plans, so he isn't worried about health care. He's been collecting social security but backed the Bush plan to turn it over to the stock market (good thing that didn't work out). He's resisted oversight of Private Military Contractors who are doing the work of our military for more money and without accountability.

This is a simple and succinct video that lays out my core problems with the man who would be on Ambien when the red phone rings at 3 am. It lacks mention of his part in the Keating Five and the fact that he left he cheated on the wife that waited for him to marry the 20 years younger beer distribution heiress. He's redefined Maverick to mean "someone who explains ineptitude as 'going against the grain'" by graduating at the bottom, crashing 5 planes, and voting w/ bush 90 percent of the time.
