For clarification: Brass is an alloy comprised of two metals. Between the foreign rule of the Persians and the Greeks, Israel and Judea were governed by the dual power of the Pharisees and Sadducees, both of whom had adopted the Babylonian religion of Judaism (Pharisaism, Talmudism) during the exile. ('Pharisee' comes from the Persian name for Persia. The Pharisees and Sadducees were only semi-autonomous during this time.) I left it out because I did not want to confuse people who have no idea what Judaism is, or what the true history of the nation of Israel is, which includes the vast majority of Christians. If you are thinking that the belly and thighs of brass are supposed to represent Greece, then be aware that Rome was an ethnically Greek civilization and never actually possessed Palestine prior to the time of Christ and the destruction of the Temple. The Roman general Pompey only captured Jerusalem because it was in the possession of his enemies, but this was done as an act of alliance with the Pharisees. In other words he was a liberator for the Jews, and Rome remained an ally and protector of Judea until its final destruction. Rome's jurisdiction was in Samaria and did not extend into Judea or Jerusalem. The vision only depicts those civilizations which ruled over Jerusalem, not those which have ruled over any portion of the land of Israel. If you count Rome with the others, then you must also account for the Seleucids, the Arabs, the Byzantines, the Frankish Kingdom of Jerusalem, the Ottomon Turks, and others. The Roman Empire's claim to the region as it is depicted in the vision is only since the proclamation of a Jewish state (1799).

Many people who watch these videos just ignorantly react and say "Babylon is Jerusalem" or "Babylon is the United States" or whatever, so that they can continue denying that THEY are Babylon, and will perish if they continually refuse to come out of her.

@uhjk100 Babylon the great is all those religions in the world that teach babylonish religious teachings. It is on a world wide scale and that is why it is called babylone the great. It is not any one religion but a collection of them. Beasts in the bible are always political. The beast in rev chap 17-18 is the UN. Soon the United Nations will turn on all religion and destroy them all. There wealth will be striped from them and what is left will be burned with fire. I wil mail you the antichrist

@uhjk100 Daniel 12:4 says: "make secret the words and seal up the book until THE TIME OF THE END" Acording to what the bible itself says then much of the book of Daniel will only be understood at the time of the end. Dont beliveve me. Beliveve what the bible says. Dan 2:44 is armageddon

@uhjk100 The Book of Maccabeans is not part of the inspired of god books of the bible 2 Tim 3:16. It is good history but not part of the bible. That is why no modern translations of the bible contain it. The prophecy of Daniel is not compleat as you can see from Dan 12:4. We are now living in that time of the end. Also Dan 2:44 shows us what armageddon really means and that has yet to be fulfilled. Prophceys for our time are all through the bible and not just in revelation.
