Yes, really it's a good cover, nice tab too. :)
I think there are some wrong parts but it doesn't matter. ;)

that's relly good but i mess up on the second part

@SmilesDeath well i do know what i'm talking about, i'm a pretty decent guitarist, watch some of my covers, they'll be coming up maybe some today even. and this is a pretty decent cover but honestly the guitar in this song is pretty awful and repetitive. WATCH MY COVERS, and see some of the best on youtube, i guarantee.

it's not an out of tune thing, it's a week fretting thing. however! I'm not trying to shit on it, I think the cover is actually quite good, just could use a little more practice, IMO. and i'm just some dick on the internet.

Hey do you have any tips on how to write good lead guitar parts for bands like these?
Darkwolf1923 7 months ago
@Darkwolf1923 Melodic 8th and 16th note picking. Some type of delay is always a good match for those as well. Also, it might be easier to write the rhythm notes and write the lead over it. or vice versa. Whatever is easier.

@bledsoe2009 I'm not quite sure what you mean by melodic 8th and 16th note picking?

@Darkwolf1923 8th and 16th notes are just notes played for shorter lengths than usual, which means you play more notes in the amount of time. AKA Just pick them fast, like in the verse of this song. I suggest you find a scale you like and play it around the same speed as the verse of this song for practice. Then you can just make variations using the notes of the scale to write your own lead. Practice, practice, practice and it'll come to you.
