Along with tobaccos associated with duck-shooting and such, golf pipes etc are very popular in the USA. I've even seen a novelty golf club with a smoking pipe attachment adaptable for smoking. There is a breed of men who consider such things marvellous conversation pieces.
I personally want a Meerschaum like a carved head of Wotan the God, complete with horned helmet and eye patch. Resembling me, of course.

your Falcon-Pipe looks pretty good! A couple of years ago I had a Vauen "Golf" Meerschaum-Pipe. Unfortunately it broke apart and I wrote an obituary in the internet. After a while my mother (!) got a phone-call from turkey. It was a guy who told her that he's seen my obituary and that he appreciated it. Weeks later I got a package from turkey with a brandnew "Golf" Meerschaum-Pipe! That was amazing! :)

Oddly enough i used to have a pipe just like that. Ended up selling it to a bloke from Southampton. Happy days......

Yes that was my evil twin. We have had him put in an asylum for his own good. The snuff took a hold and well then there was the unpleasantness..
