@uktech A Mac is just as much a PC as a computer running Windows. The thing is that Apple makes hardware, and they make their living out of the hardware, and not the software. Therefore they make OS X "only" work on Mac hardware. And when it comes to the price: You get what you pay for.

OVERPRICED MACS ???? LOL
-
@uktech Mac OS X is Unix based, not Linux based...

@TheZigZagg Dell XPS 16 using the same mobile GPU (4670) and it cost only 1099 + tax. Not to mention it had the i7 CPU
The iMac on the other hand is using the same GPU (Yes, the iMac is using mobile GPU) and ancient core 2 duo processor for 1499 + tax.

the new imacs have better resolution than full 1080p HD and you can get The ATI Radeon HD 4670 graphics processor and for 2 grand its 27"
thats pretty good for gaming, i said pc's were better for games because untill recently you really couldnt get games for mac. now i think steams going to be available for mac users.
my computer wasnt near 2 grand but it plays games great.

@TheZigZagg I have the same PC (except graphic cards) for the last 4-5 years and it still works fine. And if you are already paying so much for a computer anyways, why did it lack the function to game? My mother's 400 dollars PC can play games, its ridiculous that your 2000 dollars iMac doesn't.

over priced... iv had my computer 5 years and iv never had a virus or any issue with it at all. i live with two people with pc's and they have so many problems. i pay 400$ more for a comp and i know that im getting something thats gonna last. pc's are for gamers... im not one.
i got no issue payin 4 bills more for something i can always rely on.
-
@TheZigZagg Because its overpriced and underpowered.
-
mine has an ultimate version of 7 ...

why wouldnt you just get a mac... then you can run snow leopard and windows its like havin two computers
That's obviously not a Mac. Steve Jobs is just forcing people to buy OVERPRICED Macs just so they can run Leopard. It's just a funded version of Linux. Apple as a company is pulling off such a big scam by doing this. The sad thing is that the public all around the world are falling for this scam. And yet.. their ads are always talking about "PC's".. Well this is a PC and it's running Leopard.. So err I think it's obvious that Apple are just ripping people off.
