i read somewhere that the mayan elders are a bit cross beacause they say that the world is going to CHANGE not end and go into the 5th period of the Earth. in this case there might be survivors(if the mayans are right at all)

The Mayan calender is set up like a wheel. instead of having leap years they just set it up so that the calender resets in 2012.

All natural phenomenon have a reason, those reasons just don't have our stamp in them. So we might just as well not even try to guess and instead be productive to our own survival.

One think I found quite funny about the trailer for the 2012 movie was it said "They warned us this day would come" and I left a comment on the video saying "Of course it was going to come. It'd be weird if it 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, wouldn't it?" Haha. Silly Marketing Campaigners. I enjoyed the 2012 movie, though.

I think the end of the world, or at least civilization, could be started by loss of electricity. Consider the consequences of all the electricity going away

I honestly think you are right!
My science teacher has told me that the world was supposed to end years ago, & yet we're still hear.
However, I believe in Creationism unlike you. But I also believe in Evolution. In fact, I think God created Evolution.
Another thing, I don't think Jesus would want the world to end before his birthday (Christmas). If Jesus doesn't want something, it's not going to happen.
In conclusion, you are a GENIUS!!!!!

hahaha... dude, i hate that 2012 garbage. I heard one outlandish theory on it involving humans being a genetic experiment gone wrong put here by aliens to mine gold.
