got a feeling this is much much earlier than '88..i saw them in 1985 and charles looked more like charles, short hair.and the brothers looked older....unless time does weird things to your perceptions

@skinregurgitation I totally agree. I'm sure that there would have been a lot of SCG copyists, but some of them might have started out as that and then become great, and even a lame SCG-wannabe band would be better than...what...Nickelback? Also, SCG were always about making your own sound and being confident in yourself, and Nirvana were always too sodden in Cobain's self-hatred and his distaste for his own talent for writing pop songs.

i wish hundreds of thousands saw this back in '88 and it revolutionized music and scg was the big deal instead of nirvana
