Arguably one of Jerry's best songs, even though a cover song of Jim Croce who was a friend of Jerry's. Jerry honored the loss of his friend by doing a cover album of some of Jim's songs around 1980 which is a rare find on vinyl today. Both men were absolutely incredible musicians in their own right.

Jerry Reed did an entire album of Jim Croce songs. This one was written by two other people. It was the theme for two different movies. Both versions are really good.

I'm listening to Jerry Reed's version as I type this - Brilliant! Jim Croce would have been proud! Now they're both performing in Heaven. God bless them both!
