Once upon a time
I was of the mind
To lay your burden down
Leave you where you stood
You believed I could
You'd seen it done before
I could read your thoughts
And tell you what you saw
And never say a word
But now all that is gone
Over with and done
Never to return

And I can tell you why
people die alone
I can tell you I'm
A shadow on the sun

Staring at the loss
Looking for the cause
And never really sure
Nothing but a hole
To live without a soul
And nothing to be learned

And I can tell you why
People go insane
I can show you how
You could do the same
I can tell you why
The end will never come
I can tell you I'm
A shadow on the sun

Shapes of every size
Move behind my eyes
Doors inside my head
Bolted from within
Every drop of flame
Lights a candle in
Memory of the one
Who lived inside my skin

I can tell you why
People go insane
I can show you how
You could do the same
I can tell you why
The end will never come
I can tell you I'm
A shadow on the sun

Shadow on the sun
Shadow on the sun
Shadow on the sun
Shadow on the sun
Shadow on the sun
Shadow on the sun
Shadow on the sun
Shadow on the sun
Sun

  • i read "the chapters of expudict". it was painful, if i had the choice to read it again or jab my thumb in my eye, well.... lets just say i'd be shopping for eye patches the next day.

  • @SparksDrinker Yea, not that I believe that you actually read, but just so you know its been updated. You must be talking about version one, which I scrapped. Just listen to the music, I'm not asking for feedback here. If you want to criticize then go on my book's video for that. I can't believe you people actually watched it right up to the end when it was on the same picture....

  • @tonit

well, if i could take it off then I most certainly would... oh well.

  • there is a saying in my language, "when death approaches the coyote it runs for the city"-meaning when its the coyotes time to die it goes away from its natural element and in to the unfamiliar city to hunt or scavenge. So for me the scene has greater meaning as Vincent keeps talking about his hate for L.A and he is there to hunt as well.

  • i think this track is played when they see a wolf/coyote which animal is it though

see all

  • Nick Diaz!!!!

  • This song just reminds me of a song on World in Conflict :D

  • @kidsk8t3LK I disagree; in my opinion the wolf is representing Tom Cruises character Vincent, he is the lone wolf.

The wolf is out of place in the city and so is Vincent, out of his natural habitat and a threat.

  • this movie made me cry
