@TheDarkSide599 Although he probably didn't think that much of that sentence, if one made it completely random, it could result in a what would be normal pattern (like strips), so applying in a random pattern would result in no obvious patterns visible easily but has no strike guidelines. Also there is also the point that nothing can truly be random.
