sorry but as cool as that looks its alot of time,money,fuel and danger for 47mph, a 125cc two stroke engine would beat it in any event, 0-62, top speed, reliability,fuel economy and power-to-size of engine.

Do you know why airplane jetengines has this thick edge arround the engine? ;) Because there is always a certain risk that jetengines will explode, and you just sitting on there! I work with turbine engines, which is the same principle: its forbidden to start the turbine while there are people in the same room...

@underverser The engine was tested before I sat on it, the turbo charger it uses is run within its rpm & temp limits & it has a thick steel shield between me and the turbine.
