Actually, I prefer the red cases because my pictures always have a certain contrast that is impossible to get with the orange cases.

A 300mm f/2.8 VR, a 14-70mm f/2.8, a 24-70mm f/2.8 and a new 70-200mm VRII will take care of all your alignment problems. :-)
