is it not true that God gave his race of people the freedom of choice, thus could one not argue it is gods will to have many denominations of his faith??? If we are all praising the same true god then does it particularly matter what we are, Baptist, Evangelical, Anglican. It is all just a way for people to worship god. What is important is that we know Jesus died for our sins and was born of a virgin. Remember Catholitism is a Romans take on Christianity.

I was lost and now I am found. Glad to come back home to my Catholic identity. Why are we fighting each other as denomination? One God and one Christ and we are his sheep. Forget what these leaders of denominations put into your mind, if they teach you to hate Catholics or Baptist, they are misguiding you. Forget all this, love and serve one another. Serve rather than being served, love rather than being loved and fruit of all this is peace with him. That is the message of Jesus.

Our Lady once said if Catholics showed and lived their faith, the whole world would be Catholic. So let us begin this journey of prayer, of faith, and of example. Let us, on this National Day of Prayer (which should be every day) and the Feast of the Ascension, make a promise to the Lord to do so. @danielhallam87 I believe the Catholic church is actually the first Christian religion and other ones sprung off of it and am not sure that it started out as a roman religion as you said. and as for your statements about freedom to worship as one sees fit for themselves I believe that should encompass other religions and their Gods, whether you believe they are wrong or not I believe that the creator of all has many names and many different paths that lead to him.
