*FIREPROOF*
Itachi2201 requested that I use this pass. Even though I don't pay attention to specific Pokemon requests, I still used Sandshrew in this battle because I felt he would be useful. Also, I like this guy's name.
Geez. The last three battles I uploaded took place in Main Street Colosseum. I chose it this time, but the last two times, my opponent did.
I've been running into Overheat/Power Swap Ninetales quite a lot recently. The last two battles I had with one were unfortunately thrown out because my camera crapped out on my for both of them. I captured it this time, and I have to say, this battle was pretty good!
Of course my poor decision-making caused me to flounder a bit, but it was nice to see Spoink take so much damage. She isn't just there to set up Trick Room. I took a spin online later to see if I could do well without her, and I couldn't. I suppose I could if the right Pokemon were sent out against mine, but I think I just have to accept the fact that Spoink is pretty much a staple on this team. I'm fine with that. I like Spoink (otherwise, she wouldn't be here).
Sandshrew gets a little play time here as well. Sandshrew was one of my favorite unevolved Pokemon back in Gen. I (along with Clefairy and Venonat). His stats are pretty nice for a baby Pokemon, so of course I had to use him. Just look at how well he took a Sucker Punch from Honchkrow!
My biggest mistake in this battle involved the two Pokemon I've been praising in this description. Sandshrew can take physical hits; Spoink can take special hits. Neither of them can take the opposite type of hit, but it's so easy to underestimate these kids and second guess whether or not they can afford to take a bullet for someone else.
I chose - Spoink, Sandshrew, and Omanyte
@Chikunai chose - Ninetales, Honchkrow, and Gallade
Great battle! Didn't know Spoink was that tough. I've never seen the Power Swap strat with Ninetales or any other poke that can use it. I tell ya when you battle an asian (assuming this from opponent's name) player you never know what to expect! Most of my favorite battles are against them.
I hope they do have an item to extend TR because they have done so for every other "condition" on the field. Great game again

@darkrai3182 Oh okay. That's a nifty strategy there.

@ObviousAipom It swaps stat changes with the target. so spoink would have got the sp. atk drop from overheat.

Nice to see an unevolved team doing well against OU-tier Pokemon. kudos to you for being original. =)

How does Power Swap work? I don't think I have a clear understanding of what it does.
