This man's understanding of Luther is very narrow. I doubt he ever read any of Luther's writings or the Lutheran Confessions. I suppose the selling of indulgences to raise money for Rome has the support of the Church Fathers? Lutheran teaching is grounded in Scripture and Patristic theology. And it was not that James disagreed with Luther, but with Saint Paul- or at least with the way the papalists were interpreting James. Luther's teaching represents the best of catholic teaching.
