Lamb of God - Desolation - The National - Richmond, VA Live - 1/22/2012 - Resolution Tour Kickoff

The whole set was a beast, the new album is monstrous; if you can, it's absolutely imperative you go see these fellows. They blew everyone's skull wide open with this first new song and everything after that was like having all your nerves electrified repeatedly. Calling this show stupefyingly good would be an understatement.

@GreazyKhrumMuncher ..... I was IN the crowd and it was pure chaos from the time they took the stage. I was in front of Randy and there was barely room to move my arms and hold the camera as still as possible. This was the intro and first song. Mark is my favorite and I did get a good amount of him in some of the other vids. It was a brutal and awesome spot to be in. ;-)

@IamLiterallyRetarded True but not when your tuned down to drop A with a 7 string, it's not as important, my drummer is good enough with bass to make up for it, like I said in my bands music bass isn't that "essential"...I do know that it's important to have it in songs and in most songs it is, I would know if my band sounds good or not and it sounds just as good without bass

@theblazette haha for sure man. Fuck, the worst was last year when I was visiting folks back in Turkey and literally eight hours after my flight left I found out Lamb of God was playing in Turkey. fml.

Right now they're in Europe all the way till summer so I'm waiting to catch them next fall hopefully. Hopefully the Resolution tour will be like their previous tours where they tour for a good 2 years before going back in to the studio

@musicaws2 The interaction between the bass and the drums are essential in most forms of music. This band has an incredible rhythm section, it drives the whole band. Do yourself a favor, start listening for bass and bass (kick) drums in the music you like. You will learn something, I guarantee it.
