2002 ford ranger (edge edition)

Bought in January of 06 from Columbia Ford.

Pictures are a time line of how the work was done. A ton of my personallity, time and energy has gone into this project so far. Ive done allot of 'learn as you go' and It's turned out great. I attend NEIT for collision repair and am proud to say I've done 100% of the work on my truck myself. (of course I had the help/support of friends, family and teachers alike to make this possible) I'll never be done and will continue to improve something somehow someway. This is also my daily driver. I commute an hour a day to school, I've loged 50k miles on the truck thus far making it sit roughly under 90k.

The work I've done thus far includes:

89 caddy deville tailights
shaved third brake light, bed stakes, tailgate, bumper

Grant kustoms roll pan
Clear corners

Exploror console (soon to be custom fiberglass console with a 10"jl audio sub)

20% tint all around (actually the only thing I paid someone else to do, but now i know how to do this)

Compleltly re-done interior, all black.

Torsion bar keys have been flipped resulting in a 5" drop up front and a 7" out back with a traditional flip kit. There is no 'kit' available to lower an Edge because it has 4x4 suspension and comes higher stock than a normal ranger so a 5/7 drop isn't as noticable as it could be.

Soon to come: Shaved door handles, new grille & bumper, sunroof, Custom bed floor, wheels and tires (spring), LED upgrade, and of course it will be getting bagged...

enjoy

  • I admire your work. Im in the same boat as you, i just picked up a 91 s10 as my first vehicle and have been putting in a LOT of time into it. Doing as much as u can to the truck urself is the way to go. I really like the mods u did:) I just bought a roll pan myself, so that's my next step in the never-ending process, lol. Keep up the good work , lookin good;)
